Hands-On History

We aim to make our displays as interactive and engaging as possible.
To that end, we have a number of exhibits in our facilities that kids of all ages can touch and explore including:

-Water Hand-Pump
-Train Bell
-Model Railroad Display
-And much more!!

In our pavilion, you’ll find a train table and boxes of wooden track for kids to become their own Master of the Railway.

We also invite you to climb around inside and explore our caboose. We have an assortment of children’s train books as well as play-food to “cook” over an original coal stove.

**Please be sure to supervise children throughout our exhibits.
Historical items, though usually robust, can still be broken.
