Artifact and Local History Donations
We would love to speak with you about the pieces of Mars and Western PA history you may have in your possession. The majority of our collection has been donated by local individuals and we are grateful for every item.
If your piece is accepted by the Collections Committee you will be asked to sign a donor form. You may then used the donated value of the item to receive a tax deduction. Please note: While we would love to have the space to display everything that is given to us, that simply isn’t possible. Your item may not enter our displays for some time, or may be replaced depending on it’s continue relevance to our society.
Oral and Written Histories
Your oral or written accounts of Mars history are also invaluable to us. You can contribute your story (or a loved one’s story) in person (verbally to a volunteer), in writing (via email or letter), or by participating in one of our many ongoing Facebook conversations.
